Royalty splits for artists and labels in India: Everyone on the song gets paid. Directly.
SUF Digitals splits a song's royalties between everyone who made it: producer, composer, lyricist, featured artist or band member. You set each person's share when you upload, each of them accepts it from their own SUF login, and from then on every person sees their own statement and withdraws their own money. Nobody has to collect the royalties and pass them on.
Collaborator splits come with the Rising, Pro and Signature artist plans. Labels on Label Pro and Label Enterprise give every artist a login and a share of each song.
Shares that add up to 100%
The split is checked as you type, so a song can never go out with shares that do not add up.
Accepted before release
Every collaborator accepts their share from their own login before the release goes to the stores.
A statement for each person
Each person sees their own earnings and withdraws to their own verified bank account or UPI.
How royalty splits work on SUF Digitals
Five steps, from agreeing the numbers to everyone being paid.
- 1Agree the shares in writingDecide who gets what before you upload. Our split sheet template has the fields that matter: names, roles, percentages and signatures.
- 2Add your collaborators to the songWhile the release is a draft, add each person with their email and percentage. Your own share is what is left after theirs.
- 3They accept from their own loginEach collaborator gets an email invite, signs in or creates their SUF account, and accepts or declines the share.
- 4The release goes out once everyone has acceptedSUF delivers the release only when every share on every song is accepted. If someone declines, you revise the split and they accept the new version.
- 5Each person is paid their shareRoyalties are split line by line as statements arrive. Each person sees their share on their own Money page and withdraws it.
Every change is on record
A split only protects you if everyone agreed to the same numbers. SUF keeps the proof.
- 1Changing a split means agreeing againEdit any share and the split gets a new version. Earlier acceptances no longer count, so everyone accepts the new numbers.
- 2Who accepted what, and whenEvery declaration, acceptance and decline is recorded against the exact percentage and version, so a dispute starts from facts.
Splits for record labels
On Label Pro and Label Enterprise, a label can pay each of its artists directly instead of settling up by hand.
- 1Give each artist a loginInvite your artists to their own SUF login under your label. Nothing is linked until the artist accepts.
- 2Set each artist's share per songChoose the artist's percentage of your label's earnings on each of their songs.
- 3The artist confirms and is paid by SUFThe artist confirms the share, reads their own statement and withdraws their money. If they dispute a share, you are told and their money stays held for them until it is settled.

Questions about royalty splits
Who can I split royalties with?
Anyone who has a share in the recording: a producer, composer, lyricist, featured artist, band member or anyone else you agreed to pay. Add each person with their email and their percentage.
Which plans include royalty splits?
Rising (Rs 1,999 a year), Pro (Rs 2,999 a year) and Signature (Rs 3,999 a year) include collaborator splits. Debut does not. For labels, Label Pro and Label Enterprise give each artist a login with their own song shares and payouts.
Does each collaborator need their own SUF account?
Yes, a login of their own. That is where they accept their share, read their statement, add their payout details and withdraw. The invite email takes them there.
What if a collaborator declines their share?
The release waits. A declined share leaves the split short of 100%, so you revise the split and everyone accepts the new version before the release goes to the stores.
What if the shares do not add up to 100%?
You cannot submit the release until they do. The split is checked as you type, and your own share is whatever is left after your collaborators, so the total always stays honest.
Is this the same as publishing royalties?
No. A split shares the recording royalties SUF collects from the stores. Royalties for the song itself, the lyrics and the composition, are publishing royalties, collected in India by IPRS for its members.
