Label questions
How much does music distribution for a label cost?
Label plans are annual and priced in rupees: Label Starter Rs 4,999 a year (keep 85%, up to 10 artists), Label Pro Rs 7,999 (keep 90%, up to 30 artists) and Label Enterprise Rs 9,999 (keep 95%, unlimited artists), before 18% GST. Every label plan has unlimited releases.
When is a label plan cheaper than separate artist plans?
At around three artists. Below that, an artist plan is the cheaper deal, and SUF would rather you bought that one.
Can my artists have their own logins?
Yes. A label invites each artist to their own login, sets each song's share, and those shares are paid to the artists directly, so the label does not have to forward money by hand.
Whose name goes on the releases?
Your label's. A label account has one label name, its own, and the P and C lines on every release carry it.
Can I move my existing catalogue to SUF?
Yes. Bulk upload takes a filled spreadsheet template with the audio and covers, and releases keep their existing ISRC codes so play counts and playlist placements carry over. The old delivery comes down only after the new one is live.
Do label plans include caller tunes and YouTube Content ID?
Yes. Caller tunes on Jio, Airtel, Vi and BSNL, YouTube Content ID and Official Artist Channel help apply across your whole roster on every label plan.
Can labels outside India use SUF?
